Tan Boon Heong is a Malaysian male professional badminton player in the men's doubles event. He and his former partner, Hoon Thien How, were once World Junior Champions. Tan and his second partner Koo Kien Keat won the bronze and silver medals at the 2009 and 2010 World Championships respectively as well as the gold and silver medals at the 2006 and 2010 Asian Games
