C. K. Vineeth scored his first  and the decisive goal in the 90′ minute of the game to seal the fate for Football Club Goa in a very thrilling encounter. Earlier Rafael Coelho had put Goa ahead in just the 9th min of the game before Kervens Belfort equalized with a penalty in the 48′ minute.

The game turned a bit sour with as many as 9 cards being drawn. FC Goa were down to 9 men after Felisbino was shown a second yellow card for his two-footed lunge. This resulted in as 9 min of extra time being added to the second half.

Kerala Blasters were looking for some openings in the concluding stages and were rewarded when Vineeth slipped one past the goalkeeper in the 90′ min.

Post match saw a lot of FC Goa players showing their displeasure against the referee but it does nothing to better their chances – they are still languishing at the bottom end of the table.
