Shillong Lajong Football Club

Lajong FC was established in 1983 by two friends Kitdor Syiem and P.D. Sawyan. Lajong started playing in the Federation Cup from 2009 onwards and in the very first year finished as runners-up. The Club is playing in I-League First Division from 2009-10 and is based in Shillong.
