However yesterday Mumbai FC couldn’t break through Atlético de Kolkata defense to even out the scores. A depleted Atlético de Kolkata team played with 10 men during the second half and held on to draw the game and move to the Finals.

Mumbai FC had a couple of wonderful opportunities but Kolkata held on and showed a lot of nerve defending during the second half after Lalthlamuana got sent out of the field in the 42′ minute.

Due credit should also go to Kolkata’s goalkeeper Debjit Majumder for keeping his poise and calm during the second half.

Atlético de Kolkata will looking forward to win this after reaching their second final and will be meeting the winners of Kerala Blasters and Delhi Dynamos who are meeting in their second semi-final leg on Dec 14th in Delhi.
